In the page, I have added my selected recent achievements and experience of working in various organizations
1. Winning team of CoMotion Miami civil startup Challenge – 2021
The Miami Mobility Challenge is a prestigious civic startup competition, focused on bringing together both cities and innovators from both sides of the Americas to tackle the urgent challenges of urban mobility.
Our team is currently working with Miami-Dade county and City of Gainesville to develop a prototype if our product.

2. Selected as one of the Traffic Safety Scholars for 2022
Lifesavers Traffic Safety Scholar (TSS) for the 2022 Lifesavers National Conference on Highway Safety Priorities is a prestigious competitive scholarship program. Each year, few students across the world are awarded this scholarship from various domains (e.g. computer science, automobile, transportation, communications, social sciences, etc.) for their contributions towards traffic safety.
This scholarship will provide me an opportunity meet the traffic safety professionals and understand their perspective, which helps me identify meaningful applications of advanced analytical approaches to improve transportation safety. I am looking forward to this conference in March, 2022.
3. President (2019-20) for Institute of Transportation Engineers of University Chapter
As the president of the chapter, I will highlight two of my selected contributions:
Traffic bowl
Traffic bowl is a popular jeopardy style competition and our university had been loosing contentiously to rivals University of South Florida. After joining as president, I worked with the past presidents – Fabio Sasahara and Aschkan Omidvar and introduced a new position in the board -Traffic bowl coordinator, dedicated for the competition. I convinced a PhD student – Luan to take this position and worked with him to revive the traffic bowl culture among students in the department. As a results, ITE has been winning the traffic bowl the state level competition since then and was also ranked third in international traffic bowl competition this year.

Financial stability
The chapter always had limited funding to support various activities. I worked with my treasurer to raise funds from various sources. We secured more funds then budget of past 6 years together. We financially supported students to attend various conference/meetings through the year.
We also organized several seminars, workshops and participated in social activities through the year
4. First Convenor of Alumni for Transportation Research Group, Indian Institute of Science Bangalore
My role was to work with alumni and current research group and set up series of activities e.g. webinars, etc. Below is a list of recent presenters at our alumni group.
